New rules governing YLOA elections are now posted for public comment for the next four weeks. This action is required by a new state law.
Following is the resolution adopted Nov. 26 by the YLOA Board of Directors:
Whereas all home owner associations must adopt new election rules per SB 323, Whereas our attorney prepared the attached election rules compliant with SB 323, Whereas the board reviews, approves and gives general notice to the membership of these proposed rules
Now therefore be it resolved the Board provide notice of a proposed rule change for the following 28 days (Civ. Code §4360(a).) The Board request written comments from membership on election rules and will consider said written comments during this 28 day time period before voting on the proposed rules at the December 29 Board meeting (Civil Code 4360(a).). The proposed rules will be posted on the yosemitelakespark.org website and bulletin board sent to those members who agreed to receive documents
YLOA members may comment using the form below, or drop off their written comments at the YLOA office during business hours. Writtten comments also may be mailed to: YLOA Election Rules Comments, 30250 Yosemite Springs Parkway, Coarsegold, CA 93614. Comments must be received by noon, Dec. 29.
