
Who are YLPers? Why, all of us who call Yosemite Lakes Park our home. We’re more than an HOA, we are a community of people who love where we live! More than just a place of majestic mountain views, YLP is people — individuals of all backgrounds and interests. In this series of periodic profiles, we hope to introduce you to many of these folks — to YLOA board members, to managers, to employees, to our valued volunteers and notable neighbors who share our 21 square miles of Sierra foothills. Todd Benzie is a YLOA Environmental Control inspector and former YLOA director, a retired corrections administrator and 25-year YLP resident whose family has long been active in the community.

Ken Harrington, YSPUC manager
Meet Ken Harrington, manager and chief operator of the Yosemite Spring Park Utility Co. His is practically the story of YLP itself. Not only is he a 34-year YLP resident and employee, but an expert on YLP’s water system, one of the most complex in California. AND few know the area’s history as well as Ken. Read and learn about this remarkable man who presides over the daily miracle of keeping healthy water flowing to your homes.

Kathy Miller, YLOA director
YLOA Director and board Vice President Kathy Miller is a longtime nurse, teacher and avid walker. A nearly 30-year resident, she talks to and knows many community members and believes the association’s top priorities should be maintaining roads and the water system.

Meet YLPer Mark Zoeller
Mark Zoeller is a retired bank examiner and decorated Vietnam veteran who volunteers many hours helping to ensure YLP’s finances are in good shape and secure.

Ken Sartain is a member of the YLOA Board of Directors, a dedicated volunteer and community contributor.

Jonathan Penrose, General Manager
Jonathan Penrose, YLOA and YSPUC General Manager, is a UCLA alumnus with MBA, innovator for multiple companies, father, swimmer, biker…who loves YLP and YLPers and is passionate about becoming a more connected community.

Meet YLPer Sandy Eigenman
Sandy Eigenman is a “hippy” grandma, quilt maker, dog trainer, volunteer, retired securities, banking and insurance compliance officer. A former director and YLOA board president, she’s proud of the progress YLP has made in recent years.
