Part Time Line Cook
The Blue Heron and Yosemite Grill are looking for a hardworking and reliable line cook to join their team of passionate chefs! Our ideal candidate is someone with a commitment to providing quality food and service!

Job Responsibilities:
• Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines
• Prepare food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
• Restock items as needed
• Clean and maintain stations, walk ins, and storage areas by practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef

Desired Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Efficient communication skills
• Ability to follow direction and in a team environment
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to spend a majority of the shift standing and moving around
• Must have a Certified Food Handling Certificate (ServSafe)
