It was pretty scary” — that’s how YLOA member Larry Mackey describes his first-ever bite from a rattlesnake, which happened this summer at his home on Long Hollow Drive.
In this video recorded in early September, we asked Larry, now recovered, to recount the experience as a way to help others understand what happens to a person after a bite, and how making the correct decisions promptly are so important to restoring health. After all, here in YLP we share our environment with rattlers as well as many other wild animals.
