Another lake to enjoy — with special rules
Blackhawk Lake on the south boundary of Yosemite Lakes Park, is available for YLP residents’ use for boating and fishing. However, there are special rules that must be followed separate from those that apply to YLP lakes. The reason is that Blackhawk Lake is private property outside YLP and surrounded by homes that are not part of YLP. It’s a privilege to use this lake, one that can be taken away if misused. Access to the lake is limited to a path off of Long Hollow Lane, and through a locked gate.
• Daily passes can be obtained at the main office during business hours. Passes for weekend visits to the lake must be picked up ahead of time Monday through Friday. There is a $6 nonrefundable deposit for each vehicle or boat pass.
• We share this amenity with the Blackhawk Lake Owners Association. Please be courteous and respectful. Rule violators will be subject to a $50 fee and suspension of Black Hawk Lake privileges.
• Blackhawk Lake is only for use by YLP residents, owners and guests when accompanied by owners or residents.
• More information appears on the card attached to each key.
