Phil Stultz stands with one of five banners put up this week to remind YLOA members to vote. Ladies of the Lakes purchased the banners, to be used every year. LOL member Kathy Kunz, who ordered the signs, said Phil erected them: “Phil is my good friend and he always helps our community by helping me do these things.”
The YLOA Annual Meeting will be a week from Saturday — July 21, 2018, at the Clubhouse.
YLOA members in good standing have until 10 a.m. that day to submit their ballots in the vote for four seats on the Board of Directions and to decide three issues involving bylaws and restrictions.
The clubhouse will open at 8 a.m. for voting and for a delicious breakfast buffet (see below).
Polls will close at 10 a.m. when the meeting will convene. Ballots will be counted and if less than 40 percent of the membership hasn’t voted, the meeting will be adjourned.
The next Monday at 6 p.m., the Annual Meeting will resume and ballots counted again. Votes by at least 25 percent of the membership will then be required to valid the election.
